How to Apply for Scholarships

Once you've done some research into which scholarships you're eligible for and which you're interested in applying for, it's time to start completing some forms.

Many of the popular scholarship programs offer a downloadable application form that you can either print out and fill in, or that you can complete online and submit.

What do I need ?

You'll need to make sure that you've got all the information to hand - your from Social Security Number (SSN) to your latest test scores.

When to ask for help

A recent report started with the comment that "the Federal system of student financial aid is broken" .  It concluded that the current system was very complicated, is harder to complete than many people's annual tax returns and cake up to ten hours to complete. 

It's possible to get help with completing your FAFSA (student financial aid application) to ensure that it's fully and accurately completed.
