Hope Scholarship program

This college scholarship is available to students who satify the Georgia residency requirements.

The Hope Scholarship is awarded to students enrolling in degree programs. 

Started in 1993, it is funded by the Georgia State lottery and is one of the largest state scholarship and grant programs in the USA.

Eligibility

You are eligible if you meet the following:-

• you are a resident of Georgia
• qualifications necessary - you earnt a B average in your core curriculum subjects

If you don't qualify because of your grade average, you may still be eligible for a grant towards tuition, fees and books.

Renewal

Renewal depends on:-

• maintaining a satisfactory grade point average
• completion of renewal forms for financial aid

Financial Aid

This scholarship is provided by the State in addition to the Federal or Pell grant - you should apply for both.

Applying for the scholarship or grant are a good way to get financial aid for college if you're a resident of Georgia.
